Fengtai District Held a Symposium on “Improving Urban Quality”: Creating a “Fengtai Model” to Establish a New Model in High-Quality Development

A symposium on “Improving Urban Quality” was recently held in Fengtai District. The objective was to gather input from relevant units on a range of urban development topics, including urban planning, urban renewal, urban village transformation, urban environment, and ecological environment. The goal is to identify strategies for enhancing urban quality. The meeting was presided over by WANG Shaofeng, Secretary of the District Party Committee.

The meeting highlighted the necessity to establish a new standard for enhancing the city’s quality. To achieve this, we must intensify efforts to innovate and fully leverage the policy effect to ensure steady progress across various tasks. We must comprehensively improve urban planning, construction, and management at all levels throughout the district. We should be at the forefront and serve as a model to improve urban quality, includingestablishing the “Fengtai model” for enhancing the city’s quality and composing a new chapter for Fengtai’s high-quality growth. To this end, we must proactively promotekey experience and give full play torole models to systematically improve working methodsand efficiency.Our primary objective is to address the most pressing issues affecting the public, enhance urban functionality and quality, and improve overall well-being. We must reinforce the city’s security infrastructure.Streamlining the integration of development and security operations, cultivating a culture of safety awarenesswith a zero-tolerance approach, and reinforcing the foundations of safe productioniscrucialfor identifying and eliminating safety hazardsto ensure high-quality development with robust safety and security.We must maintain focus, prioritize action, take a proactive stance, and plan strategically.By refining support policies and adopting sustainable development, wecan enhance our contributions to regional urban development and fulfillour promise to enhance people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security. We must address historical legacy issues. We will establish a task force to deepen research on solutions and explore new policies and approaches for regional urbanization, which lays a solid foundation for follow-up work.
