The Modern Architectural Remains in Erqi Locomotive Plant are located at No. 1 Yanggongzhuang, Fengtai District, where there are eight buildings preserved. Among them, seven are office buildings and one is a workshop. As for the office buildings, six are in French style and one is in Belgian style. The buildings are constructed with plain brick walls, two-slope roofs covered with iron-sheet tiles, and are decorated by modern doors and windows. The triangular mountain flowers on the gables and molding are decorated around all, with a circular fan in the center. The production plant is a typical example of a modern factory building.
